Coronavirus update

At the present time our factory is open and we are proud to be still able to support the NHS, other healthcare facilities and architects who are working at home.

In the meantime, there are a number of ways we can help healthcare facilities who may be expanding or providing new units for patient care:

Emergency units

For hospitals and healthcare facilities with an urgent need for storage units, mobile trollies, storage trays or shelving, we are able to produce these for you. Please get in touch on 01843 604896 or email us.

Mobile healthcare units

Our versatile base storage units for the healthcare sector can be adapted with the addition of furniture castors to the base to provide the ease and manoeuvrability of mobile furniture. In addition, our healthcare storage units on wheels all have a show-top: an extra 18mm thick top, and can be finished in laminate all round to match the carcass and ensure a uniform effect from all angles. In every other way, our mobile healthcare furniture units are identical to our standard base units; they come in two heights and feature five options, including single and double units, and a drawer and drawerline unit design. Obvious advantages of movable furniture for the healthcare sector are that your furniture on castors can move where you need it when you need it. As an addition, if required, when you don’t want mobile storage, you can have locks applied to the wheels to create static units.

HTM 63 & HTM 71

If you’re placing contracts for the purchase of hospital and healthcare furniture, you need to be aware of the requirements of Health Technical Memorandum 63 (HTM 63) and HTM 71. This brief guide outlines the standard requirements for HTM 63 and HTM 71 furnishings, to assist in your buying decisions. You can read more about this in our blog: Standard requirements for HTM 63 and HTM 71 for hospital and healthcare environments.

Read more and download brochures for our HTM 63 and HTM 71 compliant furniture ranges.
