Veterinary furniture manufacturer launches new responsive website
David Bailey Furniture Systems has launched a new responsive website to improve customers’ online experience when searching for its products on mobile devices.
In the last year, mobile traffic to the company’s website has increased by more than 50 per cent, highlighting the need to make their website more compatible with smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices.
Trevor Gillman, Managing Director for David Bailey Furniture Systems, said: “According to recent research by a leading construction recruitment firm1, one in 10 architects feels under pressure to work on their commute to and from work – a huge 100 per cent increase since the survey was last carried out in 2008.
“But it’s not just architects on the go that are surfing the net. 77 per cent of mobile searches occur at work or in the home. Therefore it’s not surprising that more and more customers are accessing our website on mobile devices.
“Our new responsive site allows customers to read information and to view our products without the need for zooming in, as the clever responsive design automatically adapts to whatever screen size they’re using.
“For the first time, customers can also browse our extensive colour ranges for laminate door and worktops and request a colour sampler by post by completing a simple enquiry form.
“And, a new search function allows customers to type in what they’re looking for to get instant access to the relevant information, whether it’s a specific product, case study, or CAD drawing.
“We welcome you to take a look and explore our new site, and give us your feedback.”
