David Bailey responds to nurses’ needs
Designed in response to requests from nurses for more accessible pack dispenser storage, David Bailey Furniture Systems, leading manufacturer and supplier of fitted furniture to the healthcare sector, is launching its new range of drugs room storage trays to help create a more ergonomic working environment.
Previously, nurses had found conventional wall racks inconvenient to stock and access, so David Bailey devised this simple, yet effective, alternative. The open unit with sliding trays is not only more accessible, it also provides more storage space for equipment, such as needles and bandages.
The new accessible shelving complements David Bailey’s existing range of healthcare furniture, which the company has supplied and fitted to many of the UK’s leading hospitals over the past 21 years.
Trevor Gillman, managing director for David Bailey Furniture Systems, commented: “We are delighted to be able to accommodate nurses’ requests for an easier working environment. Responding to our customers’ needs is an integral part of our company policy. This is also reflected in our bespoke reception desks and nursing stations, allowing architects the design freedom to create a desk that fits in with the individual ward, not the other way around.”
