About this project
We supplied fitted healthcare furniture to two refurbishment projects in Channel Island hospitals: Jersey General Hospital and Princess Elizabeth Hospital in Guernsey. The contract values were just over £63,500 and we worked together with contractors Camerons and Charles Le Quesne to complete the projects.
We manufactured the following healthcare furniture:
- Fully-moulded wood-effect worktops
- Gloss white doors
- Chrome handles
- Blue & white doors
- Healthline range of HTM 63 furniture
Healthcare furniture at Jersey General & Princess Elizabeth Hospitals
Award-winning contractors Camerons selected us to refurbish Jersey General Hospital’s consultants’ offices, staff room, reporting office, ultrasound suite and a variety of other office areas in the hospital. Fully-moulded wood-effect worktops, gloss white doors and chrome handles were selected from our Healthline range for the furniture installation.
The refurbishment was planned in three phases, with phase two completed in September. David Bailey Furniture Systems now awaits confirmation of the third phase, which is scheduled for February.
Meanwhile contractors Charles Le Quesne, established in the Channel Islands since 1881, selected ‘competitive’ David Bailey Furniture Systems for a two-phase healthcare furniture project at Princess Elizabeth Hospital. The three-month job entailed supplying blue and white doors, worktops, handles and shelving from the Healthline range for the hospital’s nurse’s office, palliative care area, medical storerooms, general treatment and clinical areas, and exam rooms.

We have installed fitted healthcare furniture to many UK hospitals, health centres, clinics and GP surgeries, including Guys & St. Thomas Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, North Middlesex University Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital. Architects and Contractors rely on us because they know we are well established and professional and our durable furniture is manufactured in Britain with craftsmanship and professionalism.
