Specialist fitted furniture from leading manufacturer and supplier David Bailey Furniture Systems has been specified for two new health centres in north London at Vale Drive and Forest Road.
Murphy Philipps Architects and Dransfield Owens De Silva Architects, appointed project architects for the two schemes, specified the furniture from David Bailey’s Healthline range. Items from the range used for the combined £70,300 contract include wall and base units, lockable cupboards, shelving and worktops.
Both firms pride themselves on their work within the health sector and are recognised for innovative architectural solutions and quality design.
These two health centres are the first to benefit from the Barnet, Enfield and Haringey NHS LIFT project that will provide modern, high quality premises where GPs, nursing teams, dentists, therapists, the voluntary sector and social services can offer a greater variety of services to the community.
Galliford Try Partnerships, the contractor for both health centre projects, comprises a number of businesses that share the same vision of being leaders in building partnerships for service excellence. Chris Boyce of Galliford Try Partnerships and project surveyor for the Vale Health Centre job, said: “We endeavour to work with companies that assist us in achieving our vision of service excellence. David Bailey Furniture Systems does this on several levels, helping us meet deadlines and exceed expectations.”
The David Bailey Healthline range of fitted furniture is firmly established as the market-leading brand for the healthcare sector. Specifications extend from doctors’ surgeries and health centres to large hospital developments.Case study date: February 19, 2014
