Check out the range of portable writing desks for hospitals on the move
A highly versatile portable writing desk, especially developed for use by busy nurses and clinicians and designed to meet the modern and demanding needs of hospitals on the move, will be on show for the first time at the Healthcare Estates Conference in Manchester on October 4th.
Manufactured by David Bailey, Britain’s fastest growing supplier of specialist furniture for the Healthcare Sector, the portable writing desk can be manoeuvred effortlessly around wards and clinics allowing medical staff to move easily from bed to bed to take essential notes from multiple patients.
Featuring no sharp edges for safety, easy cleaning and strong and robust to meet the day-to-day challenges of modern hospitals, the portable writing desk is also designed to move between wards in emergency situations together with beds, offering easy movement along corridors and in elevators.
“The range is available in any colour and can also include logos or other forms of identification so that NHS Trusts can ensure what part of the hospital the desks belong to,” said Tony Huggins, Operations Manager for David Bailey Furniture.
“Most importantly the portable writing desks allow nurses to take their work with them. There is storage for clip boards and other essential paperwork as well as providing a suitable surface for staff to take notes.”
The portable writing desks have been produced very much with movement in mind and the need for modern hospitals to quickly respond to changing patient needs. It is not unusual to see beds moved around hospitals, but it is equally important that the desks have to follow.
The writing desks together with the wider David Bailey Range of portable furniture is now ready for immediate manufacture and can be seen on Stand Number D63 at Manchester Central.
