The Healthline range of fitted furniture by David Bailey Furniture Systems has been specified for use at the development of the new Great Western Hospital in Swindon, which has just commenced.
Over £200,000 worth of furniture has been earmarked for the hospital by main contractor Carillion Building Special Projects, which has contracted David Bailey Furniture Systems to fit the furniture on site. The supply will include a combination of wall-hung and floor-standing units, together with co-ordinating worktops. A synergy of colour throughout the project will be achieved by teaming grey and white worktops with wood effect doors.
Trevor Gillman, managing director of David Bailey Furniture Systems, commented: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to continue our successful relationship with Carillion after the completion of the Dartford & Gravesham New Acute Hospital, and that the Healthline products have been chosen for another high profile contract.”
The hospital development, totalling around £100 million, will comprise 52 departments laid out across six floors. It is targeted for completion in November 2002.Case study date: February 19, 2014
