The new Meridian Surgery in Peacehaven, East Sussex is the latest health centre to benefit from David Bailey’s healthcare furniture from its long-established Healthline range of fitted furniture.
Prior to the Meridian Surgery opening in February this year, the GPs, nurses and reception staff had been operating out of four porter cabins, so were thrilled with the arrival of David Bailey’s healthcare furniture which marked the completion of the new medical centre.
The large four-storey health centre was designed with a very distinctive colour scheme and flooring – grey for the nurses and main reception on the ground floor, red for the doctors on the first floor, green for rooms for rent on the second floor and blue for the admin staff on the third floor.
David Bailey supplied fitted healthcare furniture to the value of £23,745 to compliment the health centre’s vibrant colour scheme, which consisted of brilliant white base, wall and tall storage units and drawer units with bullnosed fully-moulded worktops with a dark grey speckled finish.
Practice Nurse, Jane said: “The storage units are a good size and keep all our stock tidy and behind closed doors. The worktops and units are also easy to clean which helps keep the surgery dust-free.”
The healthcare furniture was used to furnish 29 rooms in total including nurse treatment rooms, consulting rooms, clinical storage areas, the podiatry unit, the dermatology unit, medical students’ rooms, the treatment recovery unit and minor surgery room.
