New healthcare furniture projects continue during lockdown

We’re pleased to have been chosen by Modus Building Services to manufacture healthcare furniture for 6 modular CT scanner buildings. While not everything is continuing as normal during the Covid-19 pandemic, because our factory has been working to support the NHS, we’ve been able to support several contractors and architects for new healthcare furniture projects while they’re designing and planning for when we emerge from the lockdown.

This new order is for installation at facilities in Hull, and is being fitted by Paragon Space into 6 sets of rooms, consisting of a control room and an exam room. Both types of rooms include our specialist HTM 71 Healthline furniture range, along with infills to the ceiling above wall and tall units. Each control room has an L-shape worktop, including an internal splay, with the exam rooms having a BM worktop (40mm thick bullnose laminate-faced, fully moulded worktop with a 50mm high rear integral upstand). Both rooms included hook-on patresses. In total we have produced 12 worktops and 84 storage units for this installation.

The project is scheduled to be delivered in two phases during June and has a value of just under £30,000.
