David Bailey Furniture Systems appoints new sales manager

David Bailey Furniture Systems steady growth in the healthcare, education and veterinary sectors has allowed the company to further strengthen its sales team with the appointment of Barry Hamer as sales manager.

Barry has a wealth of experience in furniture sales having previously worked for another leading supplier of healthcare furniture systems, as well as a specialist manufacturer of special needs furniture.

Based in Shropshire, Barry is ideally located to respond to opportunities in the Midlands and North of England, which were previously being handled by David Bailey’s head office in Broadstairs, Kent.

Barry said: “David Bailey Furniture Systems is a great example of a British manufacturing success story and I’m delighted to be part of the team.

“In the last 30 years, they’ve won some major healthcare contracts, like the recent £1.25million refurbishment of Bristol’s Southmead Hospital, but they’ve also manufactured furniture for numerous primary and secondary schools, veterinary practices, as well as other niches – so, I’m looking forward to the diversity of opportunities that lies ahead.”
